Another majestic episode from His Royal Highness!

Thanks Joe, it's certainly not the worst podcast episode ever. Listening back, I get a kick out of the sound of the ambulance approaching, just as I finish poking fun at the fuzz. Wish, I could have scripted something like that.
I just hope Mr. Peters, if he's still listening, wasn'tbored to death.

I really liked this episode! The beginning about the tuition for private schools really hit close to home with me. I'm a senior in high school, and next year, I'll be entering private university in Pittsburgh. The tuition is insane! I'm lucky that my parents can afford it, but I feel so bad for my friends who are also getting into these excellent schools but simply can't afford them. It's a trap--and one of the reasons I'm so pro-affirmative action, especially in the realm of economic standing. It's just so sad to see all of this potential being wasted.

Hi Scott, this episode was a pleasure to listen to. I always enjoy your skill with using soundscapes and can see myself walking along and experiencing the sights you describe.
While all things change and evolve, including us people (we hope!), I would echo some prior comments of other episodes that highlight the importance of essentially retaining and honoring the past.
Oh, and using negative criticism from listeners as a means to dishonor yourself and the wonderful things you do is something that I would respectfully ask you let go of! If you were that bad, none of us would be here!

Scott the audio you used at the start of the episode was fascinating. I really liked it. Maybe it's because I like Greg Peck. Maybe.
Great episode as always.

Juku is tough for kids in Japan, but you are right that it is a necessary evil. Enjoyed the various soundscapes, as always.

Hello Scott!
Great "elevator story" monologue on the begining! Big thanks for sharing it! (Jean Shepherd's bit)
