This one-hundred-twentieth episode came unexpectedly on a Sunday afternoon at home. Show notes don't really seem to make sense for this one as it's pretty self-explanatory.

Curious listeners might be interested in tracking down the Warren Ellis blog post referenced at the close of the episode which was prompted by a recent report about some science stuff from the BBC.

Scott,

As always your talks are reflecting great enthusiastic and productive spirit. In mysterious way this ideology gets transmitted trough the speakers and influences to act as well...

Going nowhere with passion - by doing only the right things. Things that mater.

Ironing-cast is such a great idea!
...There are those suspended moments in between our daily activities, when we just have to: wait, commute... iron...
Most of people consider them as "time wasted".
After the first episode from ironing board - I've realized how contemplating ironing actually is!!! And this project is proving that.
Sound of steam gives this NOIR feel to it. "Pod-noir" ?

This episode had a bit different "sound" of it too. Was that intended? Or was it Scottlo Scorbal speaking? Any new podcasting persona?

Keep up great work!

Kind Regards,
Woyteac

i as well thought(or hoped? :P) that, initially with your opening, it was a new persona. your contemplation is always entertaining scott!

i wonder though, is it that you don't care about these things? or that you aren't now worried about making 'mistakes' or being 'wrong'.

i think you still care, but you're perhaps just alright with being honest, and that matters.

great work as always!

In the movies they would call this a Teaser. "I have a great idea for a podcast, and I'm not going to tell you." :D

Scott,

I hope daughter #1 did well on her test.

Just to let you know that even if you switch to Aloha Shirts you still need to iron them. They are a bit better than the standard white, but not much.

Interesting new outlook on life. Keep up the good podcasting.
