I Heartily Endorse This... (ep01)

A busy week has prevented me from producing either a Tokyo Calling or My Ears to Your Ears episode - though offerings for both are in the works. Fortunately the work I've been doing has allowed me to listen to music. A couple of music podcasts I've recently come across soothed my jagged nerves through this arduous process.
The two podcasts are recent additions to the essential NeoJaponisme blog. After listening to both of them a half-dozen times, I decided to introduce them in this debut edition of, "I Heartily Endorse This..."
Simply put, Pandatone's first episode of the Mr No Music Podcast blew me away. It's a seemingly perfect blend of electronic and ambient indie music from Japan.
Martians Go Home is another exciting podcasting project at NeoJaponisme. You might be asking yourself if you really want to listen to a radio show from FM Yokohama recorded on a cassette tape in 1991. Please trust me on this one: you do want to listen. It is a treasure.

p.s. a scan of Art Linkletter on the 1960 box of Milton Bradley's Game of Life would be greatly appreciated if anyone can track one down

You mentioned that your daughter may be keen on doing her own podcast. That would be really cool, dad and daughter. Makes me want to use my son, but he's not quite old enought to cooperate :)
I like the idea of this podcast. The Lockman Seal of Approval, nice :)

San: Yes, she keeps mentioning that she wants to do a podcast about school life. I will certainly encourage her to tell her stories into a recorder. Might even do something along the father/daughter line as you suggest.
