Tokyo Calling Episode 089
Since there was no TalkShoe episode this week, I felt compelled to put together this 30 minute back-2-basics-cast. Just as it was in the beginning, this episode features your host sitting alone in front of a microphone trying to tell a story or two. Topics include an idea for a podcast on podcasting, weirdness on the way to the Sunday cycling circuit, rooftop jackpots, and a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.
Thanks to everyone who's sent email or left comments over the past few weeks. There have been some great words of encouragement - someday, I hope to properly respond to all. Unfortunately, owing to my overloaded schedule, it won't be anytime soon.

I really like these 'old style' podcasts Scott :)
I think it's great that you will be sending your oldest daughter to school in America. It will be a wonderful chance for her to learn about her other culture which can only be of a benefit for her in the future.

Scott as always your podcasts have the quality that always seems to draw my attention back to you. I have been listening since your first podcast almost 3 years ago and I hope you keep doing it. I have cycled through all my podcasts at some point but yours is the only one that I keep coming back to. So keep up the good work and don't get down!

Now, I'm a big fan of your daugter 1,2&3. The song "Spring wind" sang by one of them sometimes goes around in my head.
