This past Sunday, the Japan's First Family of Podcasting headed down to the Sunday Cycling Course at Meiji-Jingugaien. All shapes and sizes of bicycles are available for free rental. This footage was shot as I followed my daughters on green Raleigh that was past its prime.

Still still we had a wonderful time peddling through the scenic surroundings of the former 1964 Olympic Village. The nearly 2 km circuit winds around the outer gardens of Meiji Shrine. It is easily accessed from JR's Shinanomachi station.

Wow! Free bike rental. That's awesome! Those Japanese are such trusting souls!

Love the hat :)

Wow. An amazing lack of helmets and/or spandex on riders of all ages. Thanks for letting us join you -- great video.

Are you wearing that hat backwards? I think my hat is just like that, minus the strap. Nice hat. Thought you were falling off the bike when you were turning the camera around. :)

Cool video, it looks like a nice relaxing way to spend the day. It reminded me of doing stuff like that with my family when I was young. You should do a video where you take the girls to a Hello Kitty store. Although I might be the only one excited by that, I'm a huge Hello Kitty collector ! Okay, see ya later Scott.
