My hope is to return there again next week to see and capture the full splendor of the season. I'm looking for someone to share a ride in the moat in a row-boat 0 willing to split cost, camera and rowing duties. Please leave a comment or send an email if interested.
Also feel free to leave audio or video comments on the timeline for this episode at CrowdAbout.us (as soon as blip does the Flash conversion).

Thanks for showing us the start of the cherry blossoms! I can't wait until next week when they will be in full bloom!

While these cherry trees (Sakura is what I think they're called)are a rare sight in the US, I was lucky enough to see the ones in Washington DC in full bloom last year. They're very pretty. If you would be willing to pay for my plane ticket to Tokyo, I'd gladly share the cost to rent a boat to see the trees. Yeah right...

Looks like a beautiful and highly relaxing place to visit! It makes me wish that we had such splendor here in the Northwestern part of the USA. Thanks for taking us on a visual tour!

You're always so hard on yourself about being in front of the camera... no need to worry so much because you're doing a great job!
By the way Keltin... I wish I was in the Pacific NW as opposed to boring old Ohio.
:)

Hi Scott.
Another great video! Thanks for sharing with us.
That looks like a nice park in Tokyo. Isn't it amazing how Tokyo can look so peaceful in some places and yet so manic in other places. Its such an interesting city.

Thanks for all the kind comments. Two days later, the sun is out and the cherry blossoms are exploding - and I'm stuck in a library. I'll try get some video or images in the next couple of days.
