Interesting... I was waiting for you to come back into the shot and say something. Yet in the end, the silence seemed to do the trick.

Very unusual...This is one of those things that make you think, "Wait. Is this some sort of metaphor, or is it just a guy spinning a globe?" That's a neat sculpture though. I wonder why they left it free-spinning if it's not run by a motor of some sort.

Joe: I'd have preferred to not been in the frame at all - only I wanted the globe to appear stationary and end spinning. It's kind of funny how the rotation stopped at the exact same place where it began.
Taylor: The globe actually is located at the edge of the playground part of the park. I think the idea was for it to be something that children can play with that's why it spins freely. That it is such a visual curiosity is just an added bonus. The little park was a real gem of a find and I plan on talking about it further in the next audio podcast.

Why are you leaning on New Zealand in the photo? What did we do to you? ;)

San: It's only because I dream of one day going to New Zealand to flyfish for trout.

This is a brilliant video! Clearly a David Lynch influence here.

Hmmm, in that case I forgive :) (Never forget though!)

It seemed to be rather profound. I don't know why though. Will have to sleep on that one to find the meaning. Odd how it seemed to come right back to the same spot. Weighted perhaps?
