The Bar is Raised
A pleasant surprise upon opening iTunes this morning was finding the latest installment of Herro Flom Japan. Back after an extended hiatus because of technical issues, the sound quality from Rich's recently replaced binaural microphones is breathtaking.
If you're not already familiar with this fine Tokyo-based podcast, please check it out.
The only complaint I have with Herro Flom Japan is that it is so good. To me, my efforts pale in comparison. Now the pressure is on.

I don't need more podcasts in my iTunes library. I'm already having enough trouble keeping up-to-date with the podcasts I currently subscribe to. I may check it out though. I'm such a hypocrite...

Great video work Scott. Your techniques and editing are great. Do you have video stabilization on the camera? It sure is a smooth, steady picture. Keep it up.

It's nothing like a competition to me (I know that's not what you meant, of course), I've listened to both of you for a long long time.. Plenty of room for both of your styles! :)
But yeah, good to see Rich back in action!

Not bad...not bad...but it sounds exactly like yours except 1) yours is longer, 2) he sounds like he knows more Japanese than you, and 3) he becomes very quiet when he's around people. You will usually keep on speaking but will note the unusual looks you are getting from the people around you.

Dude, some spammer is copying your blog.
To be able to keep talking when I walk by people, I should get a bluetooth headset. Maybe I can swipe one of the non-functioning hollow display models.
